
• Eat a little and often. Try to have three moderate-sized meals and a couple of healthy snacks, rather than two massive gorging sessions.
• Never skip breakfast and always try to include some protein and fruit.
• Have a snack, a piece of fruit and a few nuts, at times when you feel your blood sugar dipping. This will gently raise your blood-sugar level, and sustain you until your next meal.
• Avoid sugary foods wherever possible.
• Eat wholegrain rather than refined (white) carbohydrates.
• Cut down your caffeine intake.
