Mariam Mohyeddin

Mariam is a British-trained Chartered Physiotherapist. She qualified from the University of Brighton in 2013 with an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy with honours.

After qualifying, Mariam came to Dubai to work in private practice. She treats musculoskeletal dysfunctions, which may occur from over-use or repetitive strain (neck pain & back pain), sports injuries, tendinopathies, chronic pain and post-surgical rehabilitation (ACL reconstructions, meniscus repair, arthroscopic surgeries, shoulder surgery, total hip and knee replacements).

She uses manual therapy and mobilisations, myofascial release, dry needling, and therapeutic exercise rehabilitation to get patients back to their optimum health. She is undertaking the Anatomy Trains®Structural Essentials training with the endeavor to challenge herself on a continued educational path.

Mariam champions a patient-centered approach, encouraging her patients to better understand the nature and cause of their pain, which may be multi-faceted, and empowering them with the tools required for their healing.

Mariam lives by a motto of mindful movement and living an active lifestyle. She regularly participates in basketball, padel, Pilates and paddle boarding to complement her professional growth.
