Esther Martínez is a Physiotherapist and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist from Spain. Her therapeutic approach involves a mixture of classical physical therapy, osteopathy, myofascial release, nutrition, neuromuscular taping and especially Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy. During her 10 years of clinical practice in Spain and France, her understanding of the healing process has evolved. She focuses on listening to the patient’s body in order to promote self-healing.
Some of her main areas of expertise are acute and chronic pain, headaches, sleep disorders, jaw dysfunctions, postsurgical treatment, sports injuries, stress disorders and visceral/organic disorders (digestive disorders, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, etc.), gynaecological problems, allergies, etc.
A very important part of her work is to help babies with conditions such as birth trauma, colic, constipation, diarrhea, excessive crying and irritability, sleeping problems, teething pain, earaches and respiratory problems such as bronchitis and asthma, amongst others. Esther can also help children with conditions such as attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, trauma associated with orthodontic treatment, etc. Teenagers can also be helped with sports injuries, stress and headaches.
Esther also helps with infertility problems, pregnancy, preparation for birth and postnatal care (taking several factors such as caesarian, multiple birth, breastfeeding problems, postpartum depression, etc. into consideration).
She enjoys practising sports, especially basketball, running, swimming and fitness training. She loves travelling, horses, nature, music and reading. Esther speaks Spanish, English and French.
